We now have sponsors for four of our kids. Only 37 more to go. Full sponsorship is $100 per month, half sponsorship is $50, and of course donations of any size will also be applied to the needs of our kids.
We expect to hear any day now that the construction of the new orphanage is complete. Plans are to begin the construction of the compound wall in May to be followed by construction of the goat barn, poultry house and catfish tank.
What a blessing this small farm complex will be to this group of children. They will be given the ability to learn the skills they will need to survive and thrive in this hostile environment.
Word concerning the work of Hope Springs International reached the office of the Governor of the state who made a visit to Dono-Manga to see all that is being accomplished. The Governor was not only well pleased with our work but pledged his support for any future endeavors.
